Basic Training for Pediatric Cardiology at KFSH & RC:

• General pediatric cardiology training should acquire knowledge and experience on diagnosis of patients with heart failure, including a basic introduction to the care of patients with heart failure and post-heart transplant.

The basic level is recommended for all pediatric cardiology trainees and should be available at all centres/networks with a training program in pediatric cardiology. This course is oriented for fellows training in pediatric cardiology at KFSH&RC, Riyadh (Saudi Arabia).

• Course Timetable:

Four modules (2 heart failure and 2 heart transplant, total of 8 hours) are taught using blended learning (a combination of Zoom classes and online teaching) with pre-reading some articles or introductory videos. This course online is the content of Zoom classes previously done.
